MobileDigital is now an active member of the UK’s Data & Marketing Association. We saw this as an important step in our expansion into the UK and we have joined the UK’s Data and Marketing Association. The UK’s requirements concerning permission based marketing, and compliance with GDPR are very strict and we seek to assure our UK clients that this is a responsibility we take very seriously.
The Association takes its role very seriously and the has undergone a very thorough independent evaluation to ensure we are compliant with the The Code (of conduct) – as well as ensuring we are fully up to date with the requirements of the UK’s Information Commissioners Office.
The DMA Code is an aspirational agreement to which all DMA members and their business partners must adhere.
It aims to promote one-to-one marketing as a true exchange of value between your business, looking to prosper, and your customer, looking to benefit – and provides five clear principles that give guidance to achieve this, and against which our conduct will be measured.
An important part of our role as a DMA member is to extol and spread the positive values and goals of this Code, for the benefit of our industry into the future.
